Ritual vessel - Wood, Colours - India - Late 19th century

Rare wooden vase completely carved hand carved and hand painted from a single piece of wood, in good condition.

Of Hindu origin, it probably features Devas or Asuras protecting the waters, for this reason, and also for its exceptional state of conservation, it is believed that its use was only ceremonial, sacred and not domestic.

Height 20 cm. It has a diameter at the center of 15 cm. Weight 950 gr.

Second half of the 19th century.
