Laughing Buddha hand carved on a rosewood root.

Very hard wood to carve and very heavy, the Buddha weighs 1650 gr.

In excellent condition, it has a slight crack on the right side of the face which does not affect the image of the sculpture.

Coming from a private collection, it was purchased from a Ligurian importer at the beginning of the 1990s.
