This original string puppet of a Monk is handmade and comes from Burma, circa 1970. Represents Bodaw - the hermit/monk. The doll is approximately 52 cm long by 20 cm wide, 90 cm complete with sling and strings is approximately 90 cm. The head, hands and feet are made of painted teak wood. Condition: very good.
