Beautiful puppet of a jester in a costume of dyed natural fibers with a head, hands and feet in hand-painted chalky material. Original costume in jute.
The mechanism for operating the puppet is no longer entirely in order, but can be recreated by repairing the strings.
It still remains very decorative!
The jester is 45 cm tall. With the control mechanism it measures 80 cm.
It comes from Holland and is from the mid-20th century (1950/1960) The mechanism is made of metal and wood.
