Coffee jug - Ceramic - France - First quarter of the 20th century
Interesting ceramic coffee jug, originating from France, with a style very similar to the traditional ceramics with Raphaelite grotesques of Deruta (Umbria – Italy).
Its peculiarity is the twisted cord that connects the neck of the jug to the pourer and the phrase in French written on the neck of the jug.
Black as the devil
Hot like hell
Just like an angel
Sweet as love
